Global Head of Finance

Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished and visionary finance leader to join us as Global Head of Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the company’s global financial strategy, overseeing financial planning and analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. You will act as a key strategic partner to the executive team, providing data-driven insights to enable sound decision- making, resource allocation, and long-term growth.

This role goes beyond finance operations and is focused on shaping the company’s financial direction, supporting fundraising and investor relations, and establishing a world-class financial planning and reporting framework across all geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

• Lead global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
• Develop robust financial models to support business growth, expansion, and capital allocation decisions.
• Provide actionable insights on revenue drivers, margins, cash flows, and cost optimization.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate new initiatives, investments, and market expansion opportunities.

Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Define and execute the company’s global financial strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board, and leadership team on financial performance and strategy.
• Drive initiatives for profitability improvement, operational efficiency, and sustainable growth.
• Establish best-in-class FP&A practices and scalable financial systems for a high-growth environment.

Global Reporting & Compliance

• Oversee preparation and presentation of consolidated global financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, local regulations, and tax requirements.
• Strengthen financial controls, governance, and risk management across all entities.

Investor Relations & Fundraising

• Support fundraising activities by preparing financial models, investor presentations, and due diligence materials.
• Build strong relationships with investors, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Provide transparent and timely communication on financial health and performance.

Finance & Accounts Oversight

• Provide strategic oversight of the company’s finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all entities.

• Monitor and guide the accounting function, including bookkeeping, payables, receivables, payroll, and benefits administration, ensuring processes are well-controlled and scalable.
• Establish strong internal controls, audit readiness, and compliance with global statutory, tax, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely closure of books, accurate financial reporting, and seamless coordination with auditors and external advisors.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior FP&A or global finance leadership role.
• Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, and business modeling.
• Proven experience in scaling finance functions in high-growth or global organizations (preferably SaaS/tech/startup environments).
• Deep understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP), compliance, and tax regulations across regions.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with proven experience presenting to Boards and investors.

NOTE – Candidates must be comfortable working late hours to align with US time zones, ensuring seamless collaboration and timely delivery of objectives.
