Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager with strong knowledge of Private Credit Agreements and legal data workflows. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of legal data projects, ensuring alignment between domain and tech teams, driving delivery excellence, and overseeing data quality and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Document Review & Quality Feedback
- Review previous day’s processed documents and provide structured feedback.
- Perform high-level bucketing of live and historical legal documents for issue identification and resolution.
- 2. Planning & Prioritization
- Set and communicate clear priorities for the day, week, and upcoming sprints.
- Sync with the domain delivery team to align project milestones and deliverables.
- 3. Domain Support & Clarifications
- Clarify domain-related queries, particularly in Private Credit Agreements, such as covenants, guarantees, collateral terms, and structured finance clauses.
- Coordinate with legal SMEs to capture nuanced domain requirements.
- 4. SOP & Training Oversight
- Track changes in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials.
- Manage dashboards for training and test data requirements, ensuring all stakeholders have visibility into updates.
- 5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between the domain and tech teams, ensuring accurate translation of legal requirements into data/technical workflows.
- Facilitate smooth communication and alignment across teams.
- 6. Team Management & Standups
- Run daily stand-ups, allocate tasks, and chase dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
- Foster a collaborative environment while holding team members accountable for progress.
- 7. Accuracy & Quality Monitoring
- Track data point (DP)-level accuracy for training and testing datasets.
- Drive continuous improvements in data quality, model inputs, and annotation precision.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in legal data, financial services, or data ops environments.
- Strong understanding of Private Credit Agreements, structured finance, and legal terminology.
- Prior exposure to AI/ML-driven document processing or legal tech platforms is a plus.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Strong organizational skills with experience managing dashboards, metrics, and SOPs.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel, and collaboration platforms (Slack/MS Teams).
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Law, Finance, or Business Operations.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.
- Experience working with annotation teams, legal SMEs, and ML teams.
